Hobbyist Level:  A hardy fish suitable for beginners.  They will eat algae from rocks and plants.

How Many?  best in groups of 3 or more

Housing:  (Temperature- 74-78),  (pH 6.5-8.0).  Keep the tank covered as they are a strong jumper.

Tank mates:  Does well with most tropical fish. They do not harm fish, but they are active swimmers that may intimidate small, slow moving fish.

Feeding:   Algae wafers, algae flakes, live plants.  May eat hair algae.

Natural Habitat:  Asia: Mekong, Chao Phraya and Xe Bangfai basins; Malay Peninsula.
