Glass Fish

General:  A peaceful slow moving fish that likes to swim in groups.  Best to buy in groups of  at least 3.  Also called the Indian Glass Fish.

Size:  Grows to 2.5 inches

Tank Conditions:  Standard conditions with hiding spots. The addition of 1-3 teaspoon of salt per gallon is advised.  Live or plastic plants should be provided.  Java fern plant does well in tanks with some salt.

Tank Mates:  should have peaceful tank mates that can tolerate some salt.  Choices can include mollies, bumble bee goby, Orange Chromides, small Monos.

Feeding:  standard foods twice a day.

Longevity:  Average life-span is 3-4 years.

Breeding/Sexing:  Difficult to sex, but female has duller color
