Goby

General:   Gobies are bottom dwelling fish that may be aggressive toward small, or slow moving fish.

Tank Conditions:  Most gobies should have some salt in their water (one teaspoon per gallon).  Provide hiding spots and rocks for cover.

Feeding: Feed standard foods with brine shrimp and tubifex worms. Enjoys live food such as live brine shrimp.

Longevity:  Average live span is 3 years.

Breeding/Sexing:  Very challenging to breed. Most can not be sexed in the store.

Goby, Bumble Bee: Brachygobius xanthozona 1.5" 75-80 2+  A small bottom dwelling goby; requires some live food; OK with active fish, but not to be trusted with neons or guppies; prefers brackish water.

Goby, Sleeper:
Dormitator maculatus 10" 75-80 1+   Bottom dwelling fish; predatory toward very small fish; likes to bury in gravel; prefers brackish water; provide some rocks  for hiding spots; feed some live food.
