Hobbyist Level:  Not as hardy as other fish, scale-less and therefore more sensitive to fluctuation in water chemistry and medications.

How Many?  Can be kept as singles or in groups larger than three.

Housing:  (Temperature- 75-82),  (pH 6.0-7.0)

Tank mates:  South American Cichlids, large barbs, gouramis.

Feeding:  Predatory, eats fish, can be trained to eat some meaty frozen food.

Natural Habitat:  Asia.
