General:  A popular and hardy tetra that does well in a variety of community tanks.  Keep them with peaceful fish.  Like most tetras they do best in groups.  They are also called the Von Rio Tetra.

Feeding:  Feed at least twice a day.  They will accept a variety of foods.  Feed flakes, along with brine shrimp, bloodworms or frozen foods.  A tetra will show its best color after you have owned it for a few months and have given it a high quality diet.

Compatibility:  Fish that go well with flame tetras:  Community #1, Community #2, Community #3
